Rhythm and Beats: A BDSM Impact Play Party | Neyorican & Puerto Rican Pride

Welcome to Rhythm and Beats...

An Impact To The Beat, BDSM Play Party

Rhythm & Beats is part of The Sanctuary Sessions — our intimate gatherings held inside The Sanctuary of East Harlem.

This night blends music, movement, sensation, impact, and community into an experience that feels grounding, alive, and connected.

If you’ve ever felt the rhythm of paddles, canes, and hands syncing with the music — scenes flowing together like a living soundscape — you already know the pulse of this night.

  1. This is kinky impact play with intention.
  2. Rhythm with purpose.
  3. Connection you can feel in your body.

The Kink Collective’s MITPISA negotiation forms will be available to support clearer pre-scene conversations, especially for people meeting or negotiating play in the room.

  2. Build – increasing rhythm, presence, and connection
  3. Peak – focused energy, heightened sensation

Grounding and Reset

  • Hydrate, snack, breathe, talk, and connect.
  • This is also a chance to switch positions so that both top and bottom players can experience the night from different sides of the exchange. You are also welcome to stay in the same arrangement if that better supports your scene, dynamic, or intention for the evening.

Aftercare

  • A gentle landing space before heading home.

THE VIBE

Rhythm & Beats is warm, intimate, and intentionally paced — designed to settle your body and open your senses.

  • A Curated Neyorican & Puerto Rican Pride playlist sets a steady, sensual beat
  • Dim, warm lighting creates a comfortable container
  • A separate social space invites rest, conversation, and connection
  • Open-plan exposed brick space keeps everything communal and grounded

The night feels fluid, spacious, and intentionally erotic — not overwhelming, not performative.

Just real, steady, embodied exploration.

WHAT YOU'LL TAKE AWAY

  • Practical rhythm + pacing techniques for impact play
  • Confidence in consent and safer-play frameworks
  • A grounded awareness of your own body and energy
  • A deeper sense of connection — to yourself and the room
  • The experience of being part of a shared pulse

Whether you’re brand new or seasoned, you’ll walk away with something meaningful.

YOUR FACILITATORS

Joshua & Cat — holders of the 2025 Northeast Power Exchange Title — are internationally recognized educators known for their philosophy: People Before Kink.

They, along with trained Kink Collective facilitators, create a space where consent, care, and connection shape every moment.

This event includes a guided structure, especially during the rhythmic impact sessions. Facilitators help hold the room, explain the flow, support the pacing, and keep the container clear. Participants are still responsible for their own boundaries, communication, choices, consent, and aftercare.

Participants often describe their sessions as transformative — places where they feel safe enough to explore, supported enough to stretch, and seen enough to show up fully.
