Rope Class 1: Rope For Connection

An introduction to all things rope — exploring the different types, safety measures, and negotiations for connection.

Rope for Connection:

Whether you're brand new to rope or simply rope-curious, this class is your invitation to explore it in the most approachable way possible.

We'll start with an introduction to the different types of rope, essential safety measures, and how to navigate bondage-centered negotiations with a partner — before moving into the hands-on work that makes this class truly experiential. No partner is required to attend; connections happen naturally here, and pairings will be facilitated when it's time to practice. From there, we'll explore "reverse tension" — a foundational technique for handling rope that helps you feel natural and fluid, so your attention can stay where it matters most: on the person in front of you.

In this class, rope isn't about the knots, it's about the person you’re connecting with.

Classes taught by The Kink Collective. Hosted by Please, an educated pleasure shop.
