Rope Ouchies: Sadistic Rope - On a Budget

Looking to add a little pain to your kink play? Want to know how to make it hurt on purpose? Excited to add sadistic power dynamics to your rope practice? This class is for you.

Rope play can bring a sense of calm and peace different from other forms of play. It can also offer power and control in a structured or playful dynamic.

In this 2-hour workshop we’ll talk about ways to create pain on purpose with one of our favorite tools: ROPE! We’ll dig into the ways you can use rope intentionally to create a myriad of sensations from a devilish tickle to a delightful torture.

We’ll then cover tools to utilize when playing between the boundary of rope play and sadism. We’ll discuss risk mitigation when engaging in sadistic rope play as well as how to prepare yourself and your potential partner for maximum mutual satisfaction. We’ll touch on when and how to apply rope to create specific sensations and how to enhance pain in pre-tied patterns with cuffs and frictions.

What you’ll learn:

• How to decide what type of pain you’re looking for and when you want to cause/experience it.

• Sadistic rope fundamentals, including a sadism-specific negotiation

• Three tools to utilize when playing between the boundary of rope play and sadism.

You Should Bring:

• A few pieces of rope (or use the studio’s loaners! Rope also available for purchase at the studio!)

• Ability to say no.

• A partner to tie with, willingness to get to know a classmate quickly, or desire to self-tie

• Curiosity, patience, and a playful mindset

F.A.Q.
