Learn beginner rope skills with Max Fierce

Learn beginner skills for rope b0ndage (shibari) and k!nk play.

Facilitator Max Fierce will demonstrate basic knots and discuss the principles of safer play.

All experience levels are welcome to come during this time and use our space (hard points available) to tie, share, and mingle with other rope enthusiasts.

Capacity is limited to 28. This it held at Hacienda Studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Please check your confirmation email for the address.

We may have a little bit of rope to share but to guarantee participation, please bring your own rope (cotton, polyester, or jute) and a yoga mat. We recommend three 30 ft ropes, or two 30 ft and one 15 ft to complete these ties.

You can purchase rope online at at Agreeable Agony and Twisted Monk. Amazon also carries cotton rope.

Facilitator Bio

Maxwell Fierce (they/them) is a non binary masc rope switch and lifestyle daddy dom. They’re an active member of the sx positive community having co-hosted multiple workshops on D/s dynamics and frequently assists in party production at Hacienda. They offer service top sessions and beginner rope privates. Max’s practice is about mindful power exchange with a focus on consent, accountability, and trauma awareness. IG: @maxwellfierce
