Halloween weekend starts here. Come dressed up, come ready to meet people, and come ready to have some fun.

SCREAM!!! is a Halloween party where socializing, flirting, costumes, and kink all share the same space. Catch up with friends, meet someone new, check out what’s happening around you, negotiate a scene, get into some trouble, or spend the night bouncing between all of it.

Come with a partner. Come with a group of friends. Come completely by yourself. There’s no pressure to play and no expectation that your night has to look a certain way. SCREAM!!! is about dressing up, letting loose, connecting with people, and having a very adult Halloween night.

We’ll have a costume contest during the night, with more Halloween fun, special features, and icebreakers still to be announced.

Halloween only comes once a year, and last year's SCREAM!!! was one hell of a night.

The Venue

SCREAM!!! will take place at Stopgap in San Francisco. The exact address will be shared with ticket holders. For planning purposes, we're in SoMa, about a 10-minute walk from the UN Plaza/Civic Center BART station.

The two-floor building has a long history in San Francisco's kink community as one of the former homes of the SF Citadel. Today, Stopgap features a large, fully equipped dungeon playspace combining restored equipment from the Citadel with much of AfterDark's own equipment.

Stopgap provides safety and hygiene supplies, clean sheets, and more, creating an elevated kink experience where you can show up ready to socialize, connect, and play.

Accessibility

The entrance to the space is on the ground floor, which includes lockers, social areas, two bathrooms, and an accessible play space. There are no steps on the ground floor. Each bathroom is single-stall, with grab bars on the wall and toilets mounted to the floor. The basement contains additional play areas and can only be reached via stairs.

There will be music playing throughout the night, and earplugs are available free at the front desk. Colored lights are used throughout the venue, including rotating “party lights” for ambiance.

Please help us keep the space safer by staying home if you have symptoms of COVID-19, a cold, the flu, or another respiratory illness.

Cell phones may not be used inside the venue and must be stored. If you need access to your phone for an accessibility or medical reason, such as continuous glucose monitoring, please speak with a host about reasonable accommodations.

Tickets

SCREAM!!! WILL sell out in advance. We're keeping capacity limited, and waiting means risking both a higher ticket price and missing the party entirely.

Dress Code

Come dressed as something kinky, sexy, filthy, frightening, fabulous, ridiculous, barely recognizable, or just very much not the person you have to be to the rest of the world the rest of the time. SCREAM!!! is your excuse, if you ever need one, to go for it. Halloween is one night where being someone, or something, completely different is part of the energy and atmosphere.

Connect

As with all AfterDark events, we'll have role stickers at the party to help identify and spark connections. We'll also be using our wristband system to make it easier for people to appropriately initiate social interactions.

Yellow wristband: You're comfortable being respectfully approached about the possibility of play.

Red wristband: You prefer not to be approached about play, although you may be open to conversations about other things. Let someone wearing red bring up play. Don't bring it up to them.
