SD Leather Art Club is an inclusive, queer leather themed drawing group founded by Mr. San Diego Leather 2026, Sal Leon. The club was created to bring artists, leatherfolk, and community members together through creativity, conversation, and figure drawing. The atmosphere is intentionally relaxed and social, more community gathering than formal art class.
Each session features a local artist presentation followed by figure drawing, and a few fun raffle prizes.
Featured Artist Presenter: Brooke Kesinger (@celestialfauntattoo)
This month’s featured artist is San Diego tattoo artist Brooke Kesinger. In addition to being a highly respected tattoo artist, Brooke has become a sought after artist within the local leather community, creating artwork, logos, and commissioned pieces for titleholders and organizations, including Ember Society and San Diego Bootblack & Leather.
Brooke will be sharing her artistic journey, creative process, techniques, professional experiences, and advice for aspiring artists, followed by a Q&A.
