A virtual workshop on how menstrual cycles can shape desire, sensation, and pleasure for people with cycles and the people who love them
Most of us learned that our hormones were the problem.
The mood swings. The weeks when touch feels like too much. The low desire that arrives on schedule and the guilt that follows it. We were handed a story about our bodies as unpredictable, inconvenient, something to manage.
What if the cycle isn't the obstacle? What if it's the map?
Each phase of the menstrual cycle brings its own hormonal signature, its own nervous system state, its own sensory threshold. What feels electric in week two can feel unbearable in week four. What you want from intimacy in your follicular phase is genuinely different from what you want in your luteal, not because something is wrong with you, but because you are not the same person all month.
This workshop brings together two bodies of work that rarely meet: the science and energetics of the menstrual cycle, and the nervous system research on desire and pleasure. Somatic intimacy coach Jade Levinson and menstruation coach Zahava Rose will guide you through both so you can stop swimming against yourself and start meeting your body where it actually is.
This workshop is also for partners.
If you've ever felt shut out during certain weeks, or watched someone you love disappear from intimacy without understanding why this is the missing context. Understanding the cycle doesn't just change how you relate to your own body. It changes how you show up for the people you're in relationship with.
What we'll move through together:
The four phases and their hormonal signatures. How desire shifts across the month, and why. Why your turn-ons and turn-offs aren't random. How sensory preference changes by phase, and what that means for pleasure. What cycle-aware sexuality actually looks like in practice.
The session includes teaching, guided embodied practice, and small group reflection. It is intimate, research-grounded, and built for people who are tired of being at war with their own bodies.
