Shibari Figure Drawing

Bring your favorite drawing mediums and join us at the Ember Society for an evening of figure drawing from a live rope model. We will work through a series of timed poses and ties ranging from 2 minutes to 20 minutes. All artist levels are welcome; figure drawing is a fun challenge for everyone, additionally so with the addition of rope! The cost is sliding scale with a suggested donation of $10 to keep the lights on. Each event will feature a different rope model as the diversity and uniqueness of bodies is the joy of figure drawing from life! About your facilitators: Cliff (he/him) has been practicing shibari as a rope top and self-tier since 2019. He recently moved to San Diego after 4 years in Los Angeles. This event is inspired by his figure drawing courses from college with the added beauty and challenge of drawing rope. Hound (they/he) has been rope bottoming for 8 months and participating in the kink community for 3 years. While new to San Diego, he is active in the local pup scene.
