We're less than 2 weeks out! Here are some FAQ's that get into the details if you have any burning questions but tickets are selling out so if you haven't applied and purchased your ticket yet, make sure you do soon!
Q, DO THAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND?
A. No! The party is open to members and non-members alike. Of course it helps us know who you are already, but still fill out an application for the event regardless.
IncognitoSD membership does have its other perks, though, like the option to rent the space for personal use such as content shoots, private sessions, or even your own parties. That, plus discounted access to our other social and educational events. All of that is outlined on our website but you can always hit us up if you have questions
Q. DO WE HAVE TO COME IN COSTUME?
A. Absolutely not, but arriving dressed to the theme is certainly encouraged! You don't have stay in costume either, nor do we expect you to; inside you can wear as little or as much as you'd like, but please make sure you're clothed outside to respect our surroundings.
Just keep it classy - this is an exclusive, cultivated event and each attendee is expected show up looking respectable so, at a minimum, no street clothes.
Q. IS THIS EXCLUSIVELY FOR PEOPLE INTO BDSM?
A. This is a play-possible party that is welcoming to swingers and kinksters of all kinds and not just those into dungeon play. In fact, you don't have to play at all, but can just socialize and enjoy the party.
Our downstairs will be more accommodating space-wise for "general activities" than usual but we'll still have much of our dungeon furniture out and available. Our Rose Asylum is not open yet but the Ballroom and Glow Room will be fully decked out. The upstairs great room will also be open for the party.
Q. DO I HAVE TO GET STD TESTED TO ATTEND?
A. No, current STD/STI testing is not mandatory for attendance but we do encourage it if you plan on playing with new partners. We'll be using a wristband system so attendees can easily recognize others who have provided current negative STD tests. From there, it's the honor system.
It's up to you whether you want to wear a wristband or approach someone without a wristband but if you do play with someone without one, you're expected to forfeit yours.
The goal is to help create a safe environment, not police people’s health. If you have questions about what testing is right for you personally or in general, please discuss this with your medical provider.
Q. WHAT STD TESTS ARE EXPECTED AND WHEN?
A. If you want a wristband, we are requiring a standard panel of negative STD/STI tests performed within 2 weeks of the event (between 10/10-10/24). You don't have to provide these ahead of time but can present a copy on arrival.
A complete panel includes genital gonorrhea and chlamydia (and also oral or anal if appropriate), HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis. It does not include HSV or other active genital infections, but we do expect attendees to disclose these and forego a wristband, if applicable.
The date's coming up soon so let us know if you have any questions!
