"Pleasure Is More than PIV: Exploring Non-Penetrative Sex"

The common narrative is that sex is penetrative (generally penis in vagina), but what if I told you there was a whole world of pleasure available to you that didn't involve penetration. Well, there is, so let's take a deep dive into non-penetrative sex together to see how amazing sex can truly be.

If you feel like your sex is always centering on penis-in-vagina or some other form of penetrative play this workshop will give you the tools to think creatively and expand your definition of sex to include some non-penetrative play.

This workshop is also a great opportunity for folks who are looking to make their sex lives more clear by being introduced to non-heteronormative ways of thinking about and engaging in sexual activity.

About Javay da BAE aka The Millennial Sexpert:

Javay da BAE, PhD(c), M.Ed., aka The Millennial Sexpert, is a sex educator, content creator, pleasure professional, academic, and media personality. As a sex educator, she focuses on comprehensive, inclusive, accessible, pleasure-focused sex education for all. Her areas of expertise are pleasure, communication, and sex toys.

She is completing her PhD in Human Sexuality at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA, and her PhD in Communication & Media Studies at the University of Oregon. Her research focuses on porn, sex work, kink/BDSM, cultural studies, and the intersections of media and sexuality.

About Sex Positive World:

Sex Positive World is an umbrella organization that encourages and supports worldwide sex-positive communities. We are an entirely volunteer-run non-profit committed to changing societal ideas and values around sexuality through education and empowerment.

Scholarships are available for 50% or 100% off of full price tickets for SPW workshop offerings & our outside educator workshops. Scholarships ensure folks far & wide, regardless of economic status are able to access sex positive information without barrier, stigma, or phobia. Scholarships are intended for folks facing financial hardships, or systemic barriers to entry, please choose the level of scholarship that fits your situation!

When applying, while not mandatory, please consider taking a moment to fill out a few answers about your background confidentially. Your answers help us apply for future grants. No use of names will or would be used.

Many face financial barriers in being able to attend sex positive workshops due to their price tags. While we also believe in fairly compensating educators, we do our best to meet in the middle to take care of all to the best of our abilities.

SPW compensates educators for their labor, time, & expertise. Please help us reward them for their hard work if you are able, in a place of financial comfort or privilege & are able to register at a higher tiered ticket value.
