Whether you're curious about Sex Positive World (SPW) or you've been around quite some time; come get oriented to more Sex Positive World in a fun, safe, & welcoming environment! You will be greeted by the leadership of Sex Positive World at the beginning of this meet up & also spend time with leadership supporting events in your own area of the world.

Attending an orientation is a requirement before you can go to other higher level Sex Positive World events & for many of our local communities too; but it's also a great way to get to know more about building a sex positive community around you, make connections & friends & bonus ...it's a really fun way to meet new friends!

Existing members who want to meet people from all over the world & meet the new members of your own chapter of Sex Positive World are welcome & encouraged to attend.

What to expect:

Sit back & relax as you learn a very brief history of the sex-positive movement & how Sex Positive World got started. Check out sibling chapters, events & more! Find out about what we all have in common while you add your voice to a mosaic we build together!

Once we’ve all met together for the first hour & had a sexy stretch break, the second part of this orientation will be in a breakout room with people living nearest to you. Learn more about how to be a great sex-positive community member & make the most of everything being in a sex-positive community has to offer! We’ll come back together at the end to share & care more before this virtual ride comes to an end.

No mandatory fun! Participation in any & all activities is at the discretion of each participant. No one will be expected to do anything they are not comfortable with. If you invite a guest who is interested in getting involved in a different part of the world, make sure they are on their own device so they can go into a different breakout session.

There will be no nudity or explicit sexual content showed, nor expected of attendees. Regardless, we are 18+ or of legal age in your part of the world.

Registration & Accessible Education for All:

Sex Positive World (SPW) is a 501(c)3 non-profit where we believe that "Pleasure is for Everyone". SPW creates a more sex-positive world through accessible & inclusive sex positive education on a tiered pricing scale so that money is not a barrier to our educational offerings & community.

Scholarships are available for 50% or 100% off of full price tickets for SPW workshop offerings & our outside educator workshops. Scholarships ensure folks far & wide, regardless of economic status are able to access sex positive information without barrier, stigma, or phobia. Scholarships are intended for folks facing financial hardships, or systemic barriers to entry, please choose the level of scholarship that fits your situation!

When applying, while not mandatory, please consider taking a moment to fill out a few answers about your background confidentially. Your answers help us apply for future grants. No use of names will or would be used.

Many face financial barriers in being able to attend sex positive workshops due to their price tags. While we also believe in fairly compensating educators, we do our best to meet in the middle to take care of all to the best of our abilities.

SPW compensates educators for their labor, time, & expertise. Please help us reward them for their hard work if you are able, in a place of financial comfort or privilege & are able to register at a higher tiered ticket value.

About Sex Positive World:

Sex Positive World is an umbrella organization that encourages and supports worldwide sex-positive communities. We are an entirely volunteer-run non-profit committed to changing societal ideas and values around sexuality through education and empowerment.

Our umbrella covers all aspects of human sexuality, including gender and orientation (LGBTQIA+), relationship styles (monogamy-polyamory), and sexual expressions (kink, tantra, lifestyle). We focus on consent and boundaries, how to have a sexy safer sex talk, body-positivity, healthy touch, sexual health, reproductive freedom, trans rights, anti-racism (yes, this is a sex-positive issue!), sex-positive parenting, and more.
