I was so sure I was going to be one of those lusty pregnant people with a super high sex drive. But actually, my body had a different tale to tell, and I got erotically attuned to more subtle things. If I hadn’t known how to find my eroticism, I might have just thought ‘welp, I guess my libido is gone, sure hope it comes back!’ Then, five months after giving birth, I was still physically healing, tired, and busier than I’d ever been… and yet, it was a time of erotic self-discovery, growth, and blissful presence.

I think of the erotic as everything from life force energy, to hot sexy sex, to your hottest, raunchiest, most taboo turn-ons and your fullest, tender, innocent beingness. The erotic is about what’s most exciting and most whole in you. I think it’s super important because it gives us aliveness that replenishes us.
