VoxBody is pleased to offer two dynamic and playful classes with Tensegrity (Denver) during their Bay Area visit!
Join us on July 22 for Acrobatic Play for Suspension and on July 28 for Stomp & Grind. Our dear/local InkyVoid will be demo partner for both classes.
Stomp & Grind
Unleash your inner sole sadist to give an unforgettable experience of pain, of power, of objectification without breaking a sweat! Ten is a seasoned bodyworker with a decade of experience and a knack for this play honed through professional Ashiatsu training, or the art of massaging with one’s feet.
This workshop dives headfirst into using your feet to deliver a fun sadistic experience to your recipient. We'll go beyond basics while remaining accessible to all levels, teaching you a range of applications to use with dungeon boots, sneakers, bare feet, whatever you fancy! Unlike other workshops, we'll prioritize anatomy-based instruction. Our instructor will break down complex topics into clear, manageable steps, ensuring you gain the confidence to deliver a truly exceptional scene.
Learning goals: We'll explore a variety of techniques, ensuring you have a toolbox of fun and effective ways to use pressure and impact from your feet. But safety is paramount! Students will also receive the most up-to-date anatomical knowledge to ensure a positive experience for both top and recipient. We'll dispel common misunderstandings surrounding stomp and grind, empowering students with the most accurate information available.
Prerequisites: None! All levels AND abilities encouraged! Bring any shoes, socks, bare feet, multiple options encouraged! NO high heels of any kind.
This is not a rope-focused class but please bring along your floor-rope kit for options to integrate rope into the play!
We will also have options set-up for attendees to explore the exercises while seated. If you are interested in attending this class and have accessibility questions/requests, please reach out to us ahead of time! voxbody@gmail.com
Tickets are sold per person. This class will be a combination of discussion, demonstration and hands-on exercises. If you want to attend with a partner be sure to register for two tickets. The presenter will help facilitate attendees pairing up for the exercises; if you attend solo, please come in with expectations calibrated that there may or may not be a person to pair up with. All solo attendees are encouraged to participate or say "no" to the extent of your comfort level. There will be plenty to take from the class through observation as well!
If finances are a barrier for your attendance, please email us at voxbody@gmail.com; we have limited scholarship spots available for this class!
