The Novato ENM Meetup

The Novato ENM Meetup is a welcoming social space for people who are part of, exploring, or simply curious about Ethical Non-Monogamy (ENM).

Each meetup begins with a casual conversation, discussion, or short presentation focused on topics important to ENM culture and relationships. Afterward, the evening opens into relaxed socializing and connection with others in the community.

Event Guidelines:

• No cruising. “Cruising” refers to actively attending the event primarily to proposition, pursue, or aggressively seek romantic or sexual encounters with attendees. This is not a pickup event or singles mixer. We want everyone to feel safe, respected, and free to participate without pressure or unwanted advances.

• Attendance does not indicate availability, interest, relationship status, or orientation. Please do not make assumptions about anyone attending the meetup.

• Always ask for consent before physical contact, including hugs, touching, or other forms of physical affection. Everyone has different comfort levels, and boundaries should be respected without question. If in doubt, follow the lead of the more marginalized person in the interaction.

For example, if one person is newer to the community, significantly younger, femme-presenting, queer, trans, disabled, or otherwise in a position where they may feel less socially safe, give them more space to set the pace and boundaries of the interaction.

• Consent, respect, and kindness are expected at all times.
