Throughout the night, Midori & Monk will create rope-and-body art in real time. Guests are invited to draw, sketch, or quietly observe the unfolding work.

Bring your own art supplies or use the materials provided.

To maintain a respectful, unhurried atmosphere, no photography i allowed.

BE THE ART — A Rare Participatory Experience

We will have a drawing for participants who would like to Be Art! and be tied by Midori or Monk.

These participants will have a brief preparatory conversation with Midori or Monk beforehand to tailor the experience. While you are being tied, others will be observing, admiring, or making art about their experience.

One-Day Rope Intensive with Midori & Monk

This evening will follow a ticketed Rope Intensive weekend with Midori & Monk. It is a rare, small-group intensive with seven hours of hands-on instruction designed to deepen your skills, sharpen your intuition, and bring more artistry into your play. Limited to 8 pairs.

Whether you're an intensive student or simply curious, all are welcome at the Soirée.

ABOUT TWISTED MONK

Monk and Midori have been collaborating and creating educational works together for nearly 25 years. Their partnership began in 2004 when Monk, a former Eagle Scout and fledgling kinkster, was gifted a copy of Midori's groundbreaking book, "The Seductive Art of Japanese Rope Bondage". Using a recipe found in that very book, Monk produced the first batch of what is now world-famous Twisted Monk hemp rope in his own backyard. Today, Twisted Monk is recognized as a world leader in hemp bondage rope, renowned for its quality, craftsmanship, and unwavering dedication to customer safety.
