TOUCH Happy Hour
Touch optional. Connection encouraged.
Tuesday, October 20 · 6-9 PM
North Park, San Diego
You don’t need a partner to deserve touch. You don’t need a relationship to deserve warmth, comfort, or being held with care. This evening is a relaxed, low-pressure gathering built around that idea: that connection is for everyone, and that platonic touch is a real and valuable way to feel fulfilled.
About the game
TOUCH is a card game created by Amy Bouvin, a licensed clinical social worker and certified sex therapist. Playful, body-based prompts invite you to slow down, tune in, and explore connection at your own pace. We’ll walk you through how it works at the event. Fall in love with it? We’ll have a few unopened copies available to take home.
Fun fact: there are two Amys behind this evening. Amy Bouvin created the game, and Amy Wingate and Meg, your hosts, stumbled across it, said “we must share this,” and joined forces to bring an evening of connection and fun to life.
The game was designed with couples in mind. We’re borrowing its spirit and its structure of slow, consent-forward, curious connection, and inviting friends and community to explore it in whatever way feels right for them.
Why we’re doing this
This is new, and we know it. Many people aren’t used to talking openly about touch outside of romance, and it can feel like the world isn’t ready for gatherings like this one. We think that’s exactly why it’s needed. Many of us are hungry for connection, and no one should have to wait for a relationship to be allowed to feel it.
What to expect
Think happy hour without the hangover. We’ll have water (sparkling as well), tea, coffee and you’re welcome to bring a favorite non-alcoholic drink of your own. Small snacks are also provided.
Come as you are and join in however feels right. Showing up and just watching counts too!
A few simple ground rules keep it safe and fun:
Your hosts
Amy Wingate is a Relationship and Pleasure Coach. If you’ve ever felt like you’re supposed to know what you want but nobody ever taught you how to say it out loud, she’s your person. Amy helps people get to know their bodies, get honest about what they want, and say it without apology. She holds two certifications in retail sex education with a focus on pleasure-based learning, and she believes everyone deserves love, no exceptions. Her motto: life is meant to be felt. Curious about working together? Come say hi, or send her a DM.
Meg has spent decades supporting people in her own way. Trained in interpersonal communication and social work, she created a concept she calls intimate hospitality, a blend of home support and pleasure-forward care. Her joy is magnetic. She speaks fluent self-touch, partner touch, and pleasure mapping, and yes, she makes you dinner.
