This kinky book club meets once a month for a 90-minute session designed to spark thoughtful, open-minded conversation.

Whether you’ve read the book cover to cover or are coming in fresh, you’re welcome—reading is a bonus, not a requirement.

Each gathering includes curated excerpts from the selected book, with time set aside to read, reflect, and formulate your own questions. From there, the group dives into discussion, focusing on themes, big ideas, and the intersections of sexuality, power, identity, and culture. Selections alternate between fiction and non-fiction, offering a dynamic mix of storytelling and critical exploration.

This is a participant-driven space where curiosity is encouraged and diverse perspectives are valued. Book suggestions are always welcome, helping shape a reading list that reflects the interests of the community.

This month we'll be reading Power Circuits: Polyamory in a Power Dynamic by Raven Kaldera. Power Circuits is an alliance between two alternative lifestyles: polyamory, or multiple open and honest romantic relationships; and power dynamics, relationships that choose to be consciously and deliberately unequal in power, such as dominant/submissive or master/slave. Both lifestyles are on the cutting-edge frontiers of romantic and sexual relating, and for a long time practitioners of both have found little sympathy in either camp. This is the first book of its kind that navigates the waters of effective polyamory and power exchanges, with many essays from the brave practitioners who swim there.
