Explore your erotic voice and body within sacred community at this workshop. Through sound, mantra, devotional movement, and self-pleasure, take this evening for self-inquiry into the planetary deity of love.

Hosted by Blu and Nate Alden Speare, you'll learn practices of vocalization, meditation, and (fully clothed) self touch, to bring yourself deeper into pleasure and into an awareness of your own sacred intent with intimacy and relationship.

You'll also arrive at a more sophisticated and magical knowing of Venus.

With the current retrograde transit in Scorpio, this is the perfect time to engage the rigors and shadows of relationship in a fun, pleasurable way.

Dress:

Attire is entirely your choice – from cozy lounge-wear to creative expression, lingerie, leatherwear, latex, or any gear representing a persona. This is a consent-centered space rooted in respect, inclusivity, and personal empowerment. All bodies, identities, and experience levels are welcome.

About the facilitators:

💙 About Blu:

Blu (they/them/pupself) is a trans nonbinary identifying “Dharma pup.” Formerly a wilderness first aid professional with a knack for teaching camping skills, they currently identify as a contemporary Buddhist meditation practitioner with a specialization in somatic voice healing. Blu holds a selection of mental health certifications and is in training under the supervision of a spiritual teacher to become a certified Vajrayana Spiritual Care provider.

Blu’s passion for klnk, BD$M, pet-pl@y, has been a lifelong adventure since adolescence. Being a dorky millennial child of the internet, they brought to life their first fursonas through digital art, online rolepl@y, and character building. Blu’s passion for the study of tantric Buddhism started a decade later, in 2012, when they sought refuge in monastic life to receive transmissions on formal techniques from world-renowned Vajrayana teacher Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche. During those few months in the monastic community, Blu was given their first singing bowl, launching a journey of self-discovery through sound healing and chanting. Blu hopes that all beings may be somehow liberated through voice; may the utterance of one vowel be like diving into a boundless joyous ocean! 💙 About Nate Alden Speare:

Nate Alden Speare (MFA) is a multidisciplinary artist and astrologer. Founder of Wyrd Astro Body Mystery School, Nate’s astrological practice is informed by Jungian psychological/archetypal astrology but also by studying medical astrology with Judith Hill’s Academy for Astrological Medicine and the Shamanic Astrology paradigm of Daniel Giamario. Nate’s work focuses on imaginal remediation: the healing power of images and the unfolding of your soul’s code as felt within your somatic intelligence.

As a sexuality educator, Nate is a certified practitioner of Urban Tantra ® ️under Barbara Carrellas. Nate is trained in the Wheel of Consent and his early experiences facilitating group erotic spaces were in collaboration with Adam Bee (which also included events in Pagan’s Paradise spaces!) . Nate’s AstroErotics™️program focuses on an astrological approach to sex, desire and relationships from an experiential perspective. He works with the Bali Theatre Work Center in Bali, Indonesia, creating masks that transmit the energies of the planets within client sessions and group work.

Nate's therapeutic storytelling has been featured at the United Nations and in programs for disabled public school students and incarcerated men at Rikers Island. Working as an arts educator in NYC for over a decade, Nate has developed a unique pedagogy in oral storytelling for young urban populations, and in a federal research grant integrating the arts with social-emotional learning goals. Nate's performance works and interdisciplinary performance research have been featured at Bidston Observatory Artistic Research Centre (UK) and the Myth and Theatre Festival at Pantheatre, south of France. Nate has been a presenter at the Queer Astrology Conference and the Astrological Association Conference. His practice, Weird Astro Body, includes client work, performances and writings, alongside Wyrd Astro Body Mystery School (WABOMS) as a year-round academy.
