Get to know yourself and others, Intellectually and/or Sensually. In cyberpunk culture, Wetware can refer to Brain or Body. At Wetware, we seek to explore just how erotic it can be to experiment with all the squishy bits, both intellectually and physically through various social friction reduction tools.

The core principle of this party is: Don’t Make Assumptions! At Wetware, one can never be too cautious, too odd, too considerate, too creative, too inquisitive. Approach every situation and person without bias or preconception about what one may or may not fancy. Broadcast boundaries, desires and permissions while utilizing Informed, Affirmative, Active Consent. Avoiding assumptions also means trying not to over estimate or under estimate yourself.

SAFETY

PAL System: To help keep our event safe and consensual, Mission Control’s PAL System is used. You and your PAL need to know each other well enough that you have an idea of each other's character enough to say "yes, I trust that this person will be a good and trustworthy event attendee.” To attend, you MUST arrive & leave with a responsible partner, your “PAL” for the night. There's no need to be a couple, but you are both responsible for each other during the party.

COVID: We encourage folks to have a COVID vaccination. You must bring a negative result from a same-day rapid test. For at-home tests, please name and date the test result card, and take a photo of the card to present with your ID at time of entry. A limited number of COVID rapid tests will be available at the door for $20 each. Taking a test on site will require a wait of at least 15 minutes before entering the event. Masks are available at the door and we support people who choose to wear them.

Incident Reporting: We seek to create a space that is very safe and welcoming. Please reach out to a host ASAP if there are any consent violations, or anyone makes you feel uncomfortable.
