About the workshop

Do you often find yourself less than satisfied with what you receive from your partner(s) and other relationships?

Do you hide what you really want from your partner, or even yourself?

Would you like to learn how to ask so that you get a โ€œFUCK YEAH!โ€ instead of a โ€œYeah, okay, I guessโ€?

In this workshop, we unravel and discuss the murky and mysterious issues around desire and communication, including:

  • Why we don't ask & what we do instead
  • Desire smuggling (what it is and why it matters)
  • Why "Is this okay?" is NOT the question to ask (and what to ask instead)
  • Why "Do you want to ___?" is only 1/4 of the equation of asking
  • How to make room for fun experimentation in bed
  • What to do when your partner doesn't "get it"... and you don't know how to describe itย

Using real-world examples and interactive Q&A from the class, you will learn practical and immediately-useful tools to help you and your partner find your way to easier asking, better communication and hotter sex.

๐ŸŽฅ This workshop will be recorded and available for replay for 4 weeks after the end of the workshop. Only ticket holders who purchased tickets prior to the end of the workshop will receive the recording.

About the educator:

Marcia B (she/her) is an internationally-recognized coach, writer, and presenter on sexual communication, boundaries, consent, and desire. Her primary mission is to help adults who want more connection and intimacy to overcome shame and get in touch with what they truly want โ€“ romantically, sexually, and relationally โ€“ even if itโ€™s off the beaten path. Her book, Creating Consent Culture: A Handbook for Educators, coauthored with Erica Scott, was released in January 2022, hitting #1 in new releases for Health Teaching Materials on Amazon. Marcia co-founded Cuddle Party, in 2004, which grew to nearly 200 facilitators across 5 continents, and helped tens of thousands of people to speak up for the kind of touch they want, say No unapologetically, and foster more connected, affectionate relationships.
