All animal types are welcome as we explore what it means to express animal role play. We will look at behaviors, equipment, and toys. And we examine different levels of commitment to the role and their reasons, to find out what one gets out of the experience. And we will practice some animal play too.

PRESENTER:

Ryan PsychoKitty is a performance artist and improv actor, starting at the Annoyance Theater of Improv of Chicago in the late 90s and has performed in New York, San Francisco, London, Kobe, and Osaka, with performance images in Skin Two. He has presented classes at the SF Citadel, Shibaricon, TNG4, Boundless, and others. This class will be offered both in person at the Wicked Grounds Annex in San Francisco, and simultaneously as a live, online class offered through Zoom. Add theatrical tools to enhance your scene play. We will dissect key elements from the stage and show how those can be used. With audience demos and examples, we will show how simple to complex things can be done for improvement like: the effects of lighting; from decorations to set design; the psychological power of props and costuming. This is geared for those with an interest in expanding on role play scenes. Some of the examples to be covered are School scenes, animal play, and interrogation.

$15 - $35 in advance, or $20 - $40 at the door for in-person attendance.

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.

The regular ticket is $25. This is what most people should pay.

The $15 ticket is offered for those for whom the $25 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $25 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $15.

Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the $35 level allows us to make the discounted ticketing available to others who need it. :)

So - that's it! Choose the level you can comfortably afford.

If cost is a barrier at any point on the sliding scale, please use the Volunteer List at the bottom of the listing to request a scholarship seat.
