Intro to Rope Bondage: Basic knots and ties with Miss Allie

Welcome to our beginners rope bondage and shibari class! Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone to learn and explore the art of rope tying.

Before we begin the class, we will do a brief introduction to get to know each other better. Here in this space, we emphasize the importance of respecting everyone's pronouns, as we want everyone to feel seen and heard in this class.

We will start with some basic ties and knots that are safe and easy to practice. Our goal is to create a foundation of knowledge and skills that will enable you to explore and experiment with rope bondage safely and confidently. 

We practice RACK, PRICK, and SSC protocols to ensure that everyone participating feels safe. Clear communication is crucial in rope bondage because of the nature of rope. It is essential to check in with each other throughout the process of tying. We hope you find this class informative and enjoyable, and we look forward to seeing you all there.

Teacher Bio

Miss Allie has a passion for Shibari and rope bondage. She identifies as a rope switch, enjoying both tying and being tied.

During the temporary closure of Sanctuary Studios, Miss Allie hosted rope socials, where she found a love for teaching others the basics of rope bondage. She realized that she wanted to bring this skill and passion to Sanctuary Studios and create a more formal class.

As a dedicated learner and passionate rope enthusiast, she attends various classes and events to continuously develop her skills. She believes in the importance of consent, communication, and safety in all aspects of rope bondage and strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment in her classes. She is excited to share her knowledge and passion with everyone at Sanctuary Studios.
