A Board Game night for non-monogamous People

Forget buying up all the property. This is Non-Monopoly, a game night where sharing is encouraged.

Join Sex Positive Los Angeles for a playful, low-pressure evening of board games, conversation, and community with other non-monogamous folks. Whether you’re polyamorous, open, ENM, relationship anarchist, or have another flavor of non-monogamy, come hang out, meet some new people, and engage in some friendly competition.

No need to be a serious gamer. The point of the night is to have fun and connect. Grab a game, pull up a chair, and see where the evening takes you. Come solo, bring a partner, bring your polycule, or bring a friend.

The venue has games available, and you’re also encouraged to bring a favorite game from home to share with the group. Games that are easy to learn and allow people to jump in and out are especially welcome.

☕ About the Venue

We’ll be taking over some tables at And Destroy Coffee & Gaming, a coffee shop and tabletop gaming space in Glassell Park designed for exactly this kind of evening. The space features large tables for games, a relaxed neighborhood atmosphere, coffee and tea drinks, pastries, and plenty of room to settle in and play.

The café is open until 10:00 PM, so we’ll have plenty of time for several rounds of games. And while you’re there, please consider grabbing a drink or snack and supporting our hosts. The $5 fee is the cost charged by And Destroy Coffee & Gaming.

🚗 Parking

Free street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. Parking can sometimes be limited, particularly in the evening, so we recommend giving yourself a little extra time to find a spot.

🃏 What to Bring

Bring yourself, your playful side, and, if you’d like, a board or card game you love and would be excited to teach other people. You definitely don’t need to bring a game to participate. There will be games available at the venue and plenty of people looking for someone to join their table.

New to the community? Perfect. Coming with people you already know? Also perfect. Non-Monopoly is about making connections, sharing some laughs, and remembering that not everything has to be exclusive. 😉
