Partial Suspension: Bamboo Series Part 2 of 3

Discover the unique possibilities of incorporating bamboo into partial suspension work. Designed for experienced floor workers ready to expand their toolkit, each session builds progressively, allowing participants to develop confidence, technical understanding, and artistic expression through bamboo-assisted partial suspensions.

This workshop is for people who understanding of Shibari and can tie a basic chest harness, single/double columns, and have been tying for more than 6 months.

You must also have your own rope.

Covering: Curriculum changes with each session. Samples: Upline management, different levels of intensity, body type adjustments, important knots and harnesses, rope handling skills, and understanding your partner.

Every 3rd Monday of the Month

$70/ tying couple CASH ($80 digital currency ). $35 cash ($40 if digital Zelle or Venmo).

Ticket for Observation without instruction. ( Voyeur/curious about how it works) $20 cash ($25 digital currency). Observers will not be part of the instruction.

CLASS START TIME IS 8:00PM. DOORS OPEN AT 7:30PM FOR CHECK-IN.

Class starts promptly at 8pm. Doors lock at 8:15.

Open practice: 10-11pm. We are allowing for an hour after the class for you to practice what you just learned.

Things you should bring:

  • Tying ROPE: Six to Eight hanks of Rope, 25-30ft in length each.
  • Comfortable clothing for rope (lycra and spandex are very SLIPPERY fabrics and will make this more difficult to tie)
  • Aftercare needs, a blanket to keep warm after tying.
  • Safety shears. Available for purchase if you don't have any.
  • A mat to tie on, if you prefer to use your own.

Available:

  • 6 x 10' long bamboo beams and 2 rings.
  • Water bottles, coffee, and popcorn will be offered free of charge
  • We have many soft mats, and a limited number of tatami mats.
  • Emergency supplies will be on site in the form of safety shears and a first aid kit.
  • Photography will only be allowed for reference. When taking photos please always make sure no one else is in the frame. Do not take pictures of the instructors or other guests.
  • Be respectful towards other guests

Parking and finding the location:

DO NOT PARK IN THE PARKING LOTS. They tow! Park on the streets. There is no 2 hour time limit that late at night.

After you park you will look for the big blue building across the street from the Bank of America. Walk down the alley. Find our side door that has the Ancient Vine Studio on the side.
