An afternoon of live poetry readings from local queer + trans poets

Cuties Los Angeles presents Readings at Sunset! Readings at Sunset is an afternoon of live poetry that happens every last Sunday at Pieter Performance Space. This month we’re proud to bring you an all Black lineup of 20+ queer + trans poets. April's theme is Pleasure, hosted by Adrianne D.

If you'd like to read, do not purchase a ticket and sign up to read here!

Doors open at 3:00 pm and poetry will begin promptly at 3:30 pm! Please arrive early to grab a seat and meet other Cuties. There will also be space to sit on the floor, so bring blankets/cushions/low chairs if you'd like.

We are so excited to be at our new home that will hold us through the end of 2024, Pieter Performance Space. This open 4,000 sqft studio is our largest venue yet, and we're grateful to have space for more attendees + poets! We think it's really beautiful, and we think you will too.

You can bring food/snacks/coffee/tea, and there will be a water bottle refill station available.

About our new venue:

Pieter is a home for all people to dance, create, and heal together with the belief that embodiment liberates. We say “all people” because dance spaces historically exclude those who are non-white, non-able, non-“fit,” non-“healthy,” non-young, non-cisgendered and non-independently-wealthy. Dance includes a broad spectrum of body-based practices and the cultivation of culture. Rooted in Los Angeles, Pieter fosters a just and expansive community of movement artists, healers and activists.

Parking: Free 10hr parking lot behind building, entrance on Workman & street parking

Accessibility: Pieter is on the 2nd floor and is accessible by stairs or elevator
