Introduction to Rope

A beginner-friendly Shibari rope workshop focused on foundation ties, safety awareness, and building repeatable, confident tying skills.

Most people think rope is about knots.

The interesting part happens long before the knot.

Shibari is a practice of attention. It asks us to communicate clearly, move deliberately, and become aware of how we affect one another. The rope simply makes those conversations visible.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn foundational rope skills, safety practices, and several basic ties while exploring the dynamics of trust, consent, communication, and connection.

We'll work at a relaxed pace with plenty of opportunity for questions, practice, and experimentation. Whether you arrive with a partner or on your own, you'll leave with practical skills, a deeper understanding of rope as a collaborative art form, and new ways of thinking about connection.

No experience necessary. Rope provided or bring your own. Wear comfortable clothing and bring your curiosity.

There are NO cancellations or refunds for this event at this time as costs will go to coordination + instruction.
