Unity,
Gathering, and
Alliance in
Racial Diversity
SUGAR is a munch created for BIPOC sapphic kinksters, creating space for queer women and sapphic folks from diverse cultural backgrounds to meet, make friends, and celebrate the beautiful intersections of our identities. This is the perfect place to mingle with our community before coming to our private events. No experience is required.
Expect:
🍯 A welcoming space for the BIPOC sapphic community
💬 Mingling, conversation, and opportunities to build genuine connections
✨ Delicious food, beer, cider, wine, craft and frozen cocktails (non-alcoholic options also available)
💞 An immersive wasteland-themed environment (costumes welcomed, but not required)
The event starts at 8PM and runs until the bar closes at midnight.
SUGAR is a space created specifically for BIPOC sapphics of color.
Are white partners welcome?
No. We encourage white folks to support BIPOC sapphics by respecting the purpose of this gathering and helping us preserve space for the community it was created for.
What about white-passing BIPOC folks?
You are welcome. Being perceived a certain way by others does not erase your identity, culture, or lived experiences. If you identify as BIPOC, you belong here.
What about mixed-race folks?
You are welcome. Mixed identities are part of the BIPOC community, and you do not need to choose one part of yourself to be accepted here.
But what if I’m not sure if I’m “BIPOC enough”?
SUGAR is not about measuring someone’s identity or asking people to prove their experiences. This space is for those who identify as BIPOC and want to connect with others who share that understanding. If you have spent time questioning where you fit, you are not alone.
Our goal is to create a space where BIPOC sapphics can gather without having to minimize, explain, or defend their identities. We can’t wait to celebrate your identity with you.
