What if practice time was also play time?

This hands-on workshop explores the delightful world of predicaments with partial suspension. We'll use uplines and lock-offs to create scene-ready predicament ties.

These aren’t just technical drills: they’re invitations to discovery and play, offering your partner a choice (or the illusion of one) between two challenging outcomes.

We’ll demonstrate and practice multiple partial-based ties that prioritize tension, intention, and emotional connection. This class emphasizes frontloading communication and scene-building to allow your rope to flow with more ease, meaning, and care.

This class is part of our Preflight series: classes designed to prepare tying pairs for full suspension by building strong habits and technical fluency. Students should already be confident in their foundational tying and ready to explore vertical load.

You Should Know:

• The tying partner should be comfortable constructing suspension-worthy harnesses, have a basic understanding of attaching uplines, and performing lock-offs.
• The partner being tied should be capable of verbal or non-verbal communication while experiencing intense sensation.
• All Students should be comfortable giving and receiving feedback.

You Should Bring:

• Your kit of rope
• A cutting tool
• Curiosity and a collaborative attitude

Cancellation Policy:

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event (less transaction fees). Within 7 days, credit may be offered at the Studio’s discretion. No refunds or credit for no-shows.
